Charcoal tablets are used as a heat source for burning resin and plant materials such as copal and cedar powder. Once lit, the tablet slowly smolders, creating an even, sustained heat that allows the aromatic smoke to release without using an open flame. Place the lit tablet in a heat-safe burner or bowl with sand or ash, then gently add a small amount of copal or cedar powder on top. Always use in a well-ventilated area and allow the tablet to cool completely before disposing of the ashes.
