Time and space are an illusion. With distance healing, healing energy can be “sent” across time and space to the recipient. You do not have to be physically present with the healer to receive the healing. It may be done over the phone or at a special time set aside and agreed upon. Distance healing is equally effective as an in-person. The energy body can be accessed easily from anywhere and at any time and does not require you to be physically present with the practitioner. Reiki is a form of alternative healing therapy that originated in Japan. The word "Reiki" is composed of two Japanese words: "rei" meaning universal or spiritual, and "ki" meaning life force energy. Therefore, Reiki can be translated as "universal life force energy." The practice of Reiki involves the channeling of this universal life force energy through the practitioner's hands into the recipient's body. This energy can help balance and harmonize the recipient's energy, promoting physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. During a typical Reiki session, the recipient lies down fully clothed, while the practitioner places their hands gently on or slightly above different parts of the body, following a specific sequence or intuitive guidance. The energy is then transferred to the recipient, promoting relaxation, stress reduction, and a sense of overall well-being.
